About the Project

About

The film is produced for the Norwegian Network for Down Syndrome in celebration of World Down Syndrome day, march 21, 2021.

The Project

“World Down Syndrome Day is an important occasion we try to celebrate every year. We want it to be a day of joy and pride, for people with Down Syndrome, their friends and family. This year, because of the pandemic, we are not able to gather and celebrate as a community. We are extremely happy to be able to launch this magnificent film instead” - NNDS board member Maria Belland Olsen.

In the film, Svein Andrés character transforms Oslo’s famous Grand Hotel, to the beats of Øystein Grenis song You got it. Maybe he also can transform the spectators perception of people with Downs syndrome? -nnds.no

“This short film is important, because it shows what people with learning disability can do and what we can represent. It has been fun, but also hard work, to be on set. But that’s the way the movie business is”

— Actor Svein André Hofsø
